I am a Classical Homeopath and CEASE Therapist, but how did I get here? I am fascinated by the unique nature in each of us and I have seen how our bodies can heal themselves; I think this paved the way for me to love Homeopathy. It’s a system of medicine that treats us as unique individuals, and that taps into our innate healing ability. To quote David Quinn, “I discovered that the teachings of homeopathy are complementary with many other healing disciplines and consistent with what we all instinctively know to be the natural process of healing.
Before I knew where I was headed, I had a very ecclectic life. As soon as I could walk, I was happily immersed in music and dance, and I loved studying physics, psychology, and many forms of holistic medicine. But when I took a Homeopathic First Aid course, I felt a very special pull towards it. I was easily able to use Homeopathic remedies to help myself, my friends and family, and even my pets; we were no longer afraid of ‘flu season’ and I now had zero vet bills! I also saw that the remedies made people better all-round, not just physically, and I was fascinated by this holistic phenomenon. I knew at that point that this was going to be much more than a hobby for me.
Itching to learn more, I joined the Vancouver Homeopathic Academy to officially study Classical Homeopathy in the 4-year professional program. As my love for Homeopathy deepened, I couldn’t wait to get out in the world to share it. When I graduated, I joined Side by Side Homeopathy, a group of professional Homeopaths dedicated to providing Homeopathic treatment to socially and economically marginalized people in the downtown east side of Vancouver. Since then, I have been growing my practice, taking in seminars, and feeling truly grateful to have found this beautiful system of medicine.
I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the BC Society of Homeopaths.
When not wearing my Homeopathic hat, I am either kickboxing, hiking with my husband, producing electronic music, or learning guitar.
